THESE SIX AREAS ARE NEEDFUL FOR YOU

Spread the love

Bible Texts: Gen.1:1-3, Matt.5:14-16, Gen.12:1-3, Rom.8:19, Matt.16:19, Philp.4:8, 2Tim.2:15, 1Tim.4:8, Pro.27:17, Matt.6:10, Gen.12:2-3

Praise God! We have arrived the last day in the month of August 2024, which is the month of God’s visitation. Today’s message is to remind you that regardless of the current challenges, the Spirit of the Lord is saying to you to look up to God and stay strong in these six (6) things which are needful for your success, growth and development as the good and godly husbandman.

Now, what are the six things that are needful for your life that God wants you to invest in?

Firstly, God wants you to be healthy in your spirit man. This means that God wants you to be rich towards Him (Philp.3:10). God wants you to know Him better and deeper. He wants you to have a growing and stronger relationship with Him.

Secondly, God wants you to be rich mentally (2Tim.2:15). This means, you must pursue and invest in growing your knowledge in your area of your pursuit through studying, learning and re-learning.

Thirdly, God wants you to create and have a physically sound body (1Tim.4:8). This means you must eat the right quantity and quality of food. No more junk foods, ungodly appetite and indulgencies.

Fourthly, God wants you to create and have a socially responsible life (Pro.27:17). This means you must build healthy and godly relationships that will help you to grow in good deeds and godly success.

Fifthly, God wants you to create and have a community-like mind set (Matt.5:14-16). This means you must seek to do good not just to your wife and children but to the community where you live and to others around you. So, ask yourself this question, what can I contribute to my world to make it a better place? How do I bring the will of God in heaven to the marketplace? (Matt.6:10).

Finally, God wants you to create and have a good and godly legacy for yourself, wife, children and the world (Gen.12:3). This means you must begin to make progress towards a life beyond you so that when you are long gone to be with Jesus Christ in heaven, your works will continue to speak positively in the lives of the people you have righteously impacted for good and for God.

If thy eyes be single, thy whole body will be full of light (Matt.6:22)

You must make a decision today to invest in the six areas because that is what makes you the total man in goodness and godliness.

As the husbandman, you have the mind of Christ. You are created in His image and likeness. God has empowered you to function like Him on earth. Praise be unto Jesus Christ our Saviour. Amen.
