One of the proofs of walking in divine wisdom by the husbandman is to sincerely seek to be like Jesus Christ in every way. This is what God desires from you as you fulfil your assignments as the good and godly man, husband, and father. And the principal enabler to help the husbandman seek to be like Jesus Christ is if the love of Christ is shed abroad in his heart by the Spirit of God.
And hope maketh not ashamed because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given to us (Rom.5:5)
As the husbandman, you are made in the image and likeness of God; hence, you can love like He would through the power of Jesus Christ and the Person of the Holy Spirit in your life. It is the power of the love of Christ that inspires and motivates you to delightfully obey all the instructions from the word of God.
But what will the love of Christ in my heart do for me?
Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up. Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil. Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in truth. Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things (1Cor.13:4-7)
When you have the love of Christ firmly planted in your heart, you will manifest kindness, humility, mercy, forgiveness, and compassion towards your wife, children, and others. The love of Christ will always motivate you to seek the good of others over and above your own. The love of Christ in your life also purifies your heart from thinking evil of others. The love of Christ empowers you to have empathy and sympathy towards others when they fail and fall into iniquity. It builds your inner man to persevere and endure the weaknesses of others. The love of Christ strengthens your commitment to hope for the best and believe only in good outcomes for others.
Looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith…(Heb.12:2)
Therefore, as the husbandman, Jesus Christ is your example of the good and godly husbandman. Jesus Christ is love. The more you give attention to and invest your time in the study of the word of God, the more you discover how Jesus Christ loved humanity and the quicker your life reflects His nature as the good and godly man, husband, and father to your wife and children and in the marketplace.
Jesus Christ is the true love. You can become like Him to your wife, children and in the marketplace.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower Your love to be shed abroad in my heart by Your by Your Word and Spirit.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to demonstrate Your love to my wife and children as You would.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to remain in Your word and help me to obey Your instructions for me as the husbandman

The love of Jesus Christ is firmly rooted in my heart and by the empowerment of the Person of the Holy Ghost, I manifest the fullness of Christ’s love to my wife and children and in the market place because God has ordained me to live as the good and godly husbandman in Jesus name. Amen.
