Bible Texts: Eph.5:14-17, 1Cor.15:33, Rom.12:1-3, Matt.6:22, Jn.7:9-11, Is.43:18-19, 2Cor.5:20, 2Tim.4:7-8, Philps.3:14, Ps.1:1-3, 2Cor.6:17-18, Ps.1:1, 1Jn.5:17, 1Cor.15:33-34, 1Cor.14:40, Rom.6:1, 1Cor.14:20, 1Cor.14:25. 1Cor.16:9, 1Cor.16:13
Wherefore, he saith awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time because the days are evil. Wherefore, be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is (Eph.5:14-17)
Now you know the importance of using your time wisely to do the perfect will of God for your life as the husbandman.
But how do I take personal responsibility to redeem the time and fulfill God’s purpose for my life as the good and godly husbandman?
Wherefore, come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord and touch not the unclean things and I will receive you. And I will be a Father unto you and ye shall be my sons and daughters saith the Lord Almighty (2Cor.6:17-18)
The word of God says that you must come out from among them and separate yourself. It also says that you must not touch unclean things.
God wants you to come out from relationships, associations and activities that take you away from walking in godliness and righteousness as the man, husband and father. God wants you to walk out from the people and activities that make you do the things that displease God and contradicts the truth of the word of God Ps.1:1).
As the husbandman, God demands accountability from you, hence, you must be mindful of who you walk with, who you stand with and who you seat with. That is one of the principal ways you can use your time wisely for God and for the interest of His kingdom on earth beginning with your home.
Awake to righteousness and sin not, for some have not the knowledge of God, I speak this to your shame (1Cor.15:34)
Make a firm decision today to stop those ungodly habits. Make a commitment today to disassociate yourself from ungodly relationships and associations that take you away from God and His words, and influence you to do things that against the perfect will of God. Make a commitment to walk in the light of God’s word for your life as the husbandman. Now is the time to work the works of righteousness because a time comes when you may not be alive.
