One of the weapons God has provided for the husbandman to sustain his success as the good and godly man, husband and father, is prayer. God wants the husbandman to pray without ceasing.
And he (Jesus Christ) spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not faint. (Lk.18:1)
Jesus, the perfect example of the good and godly husbandman, commands you and I to pray always. He says that if we must not faint, we must keep our prayer altar in top fire because that is what sustains our responsibilities as good and godly leaders.
As you lead your life and the lives of your wife and your children, you will be confronted with challenges. It may be spiritual, health, finance, relational, career, attitude, emotional and mental challenges. Whatever the challenges and pressures may be, prayer is the key that gives you victory and stability.
The prayer platform keeps the communication line between you and your heavenly Father open. And through this, you talk to God, and He talks to you, telling you what to do, what to say, where to go, and revealing how much He can help you.
Jesus says,
Without me you can do nothing (Jn.15:1-5)
You cannot make the most of your ministry as the man, husband and father without the help of Jesus Christ. He alone can empower you to live a life of triumph as the good and godly husbandman. And one principal way you can access the power of God that makes for success is by praying always with the word of God. Praying always empowers your faith and spiritual growth and development as the man, husband and father for a victorious life.
Therefore, engage the weapon of prayer by praying the word of God because prayer always wins.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, rekindle my prayer life by Your Spirit and breath fresh life into me.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, teach me how to pray and let me pray according to Your will always.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, deliver me from the spirit of weariness.
FAITH CONFESSION
I am a man given to prayer and I will not faint in my prayer life because that is what sustains me as the good and godly husbandman in Jesus name. Amen.
