That I may know Him and the power of His salvation (Philp.3:10)
One of the secrets to keep growing as the good and godly husbandman is continuous learning. And the Bible is the manual for your growth. The devil, your adversary, wants to steal the knowledge of Jesus Christ from you, so he keeps you ignorant. This is because the knowledge of Christ at work in you is what empowers you to act in ways that please God.
But how powerful is the continuous study of the Word of God that empowers me to become the good and godly man, husband and father every day?
And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free (Jn.8:32)
Studying the Word empowers you to know the perfect will of God for your life as the man, husband, father, wife and children. The Spirit of the Word enters your spirit and empowers you to stay away from every form of ungodliness (Ezk.2:2). Studying the Word empowers you to raise a standard against every trap of the devil that is aimed at making you unfit as the godly man, husband and father.
So, when you continue to study the Bible, you become filled with the Spirit and the life of God’s word.
Therefore,
Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (2Tim.2:15)

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, give me a teachable spirit to learn of Your way, truth and life.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus empower me by Your Spirit to seek after You.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, give me hearing ears and seeing eyes to behold wondrous things out of Your word and fellowship with other brethren.
FAITH CONFESSION
I take delight in studying the WORD OF GOD and partnering with the Person of the Holy Spirit to keep the knowledge of the truth because that is what I need to secure my heritage as the good and godly husbandman in Jesus Name. Amen.
