As the good and godly husbandman, you must understand that the Bible is the Word of God and the truth (Jn.1:1-3). It is also the constitution that guides your conduct, utterances, relationships, and everything you do.This is why you cannot do anything against the truth of God’s Word but to agree with it, faithfully and consistently, if you must grow to become the good and godly man, husband and father.
Now I pray to God that ye do no evil not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates. For we can do nothing against the truth but for the truth (2Cor.13:7-8)
The Word of God in 2nd Corinthains chapter 13 and verses 7 to 8 wants you to submit yourself to the truth of God’s Word as you relate with your wife, children and others in the marketplace because that is what makes you the good and godly husbandman (Philp.4:8). God wants you to accept His Word as the truth and final authority in your journey to becoming the good and godly husbandman. And as you align your life to the commandments of Scripture, your life will be abundantly blessed.
Always remember that God created you for His glory, and if you must succeed as the good and godly husbandman, you must seek Him through His Word and do exactly what the Word commands and instructs.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to take You and Your Word wholeheartedly.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, deliver me from every spirit of fear and unbelief.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, let Your word take root in my heart and let it bear fruit in my life.
FAITH CONFESSION
I stand firmly on the Word of God; I believe and act on all it commands me to do because it is my sure foundation to becoming the good and godly husbandman in Jesus Name. Amen.
PRAYER OF SALVATION/REDEDICATION
Now that you have read the devotional, you need to have a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ (1Tim.2:4). It is the first step in your walk of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
Please, pray this prayer of salvation in faith.
Lord Jesus, I come to you today just as I am. I acknowledge that I have fallen short of Your glory. I ask for Your forgiveness of my sins today. I invite You into my life to be my Lord and Saviour. Thank You for saving my life.
