It is a virtue that would help you function as a good and godly husband in your family fold. You must love your wife and children as Jesus will love them, their sins notwithstanding.

God has delivered to you a wife and blessed children and He wants you to cultivate, protect and preserve them till He comes.

Do you want your seed to be responsive and not reactive to you? Nurture them in love. Your honour is in service toward your flock.
