There Is A New Way To Live

And so, dear brothers and sisters, we can boldly enter heaven’s Most Holy Place because of the blood of Jesus. By His death, Jesus opened a new and life-giving way through the curtain into the Most Holy Place. And since we have a great High Priest who rules over God’s house (Heb.10:19-21) NLT

Many husbands are not having it easy with their wives and children because of the mind set they (husbands) grew up with. Some of the husbands have become uncaring to their wives and children, not because they don’t care but because of the wrong perception they grew up with, particularly the culture and tradition. These categories of husbands have been at loggerheads with either their wives or children. However, in Heb.10:20, God’s word says that by a new and living way which hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh. What this is telling you and I is that there is a better and a new way to handle your wife and children. And that way is found in Jesus Christ. There is a popular saying that it is only a mad man who keeps doing the same thing and expects to get different results. Are you not tired of the continued troubles you are having with your wife and children? Has it not occurred to you that your approaches and methods used in handling your wife and children are not working? Jesus has a better way for you. Remember that He is the way, the truth and the life. He has a much more improved plans and strategies for you. So learn His ways and be at peace with your flock.

God has sent you into the lives of your wife and children so that you can be to them an example of good works. Therefore, it is time for you to review your methods and let the word of God determine and guide your actions.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE

·         Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to stay focused on Your word for help.

·         Father, in the Name of Jesus, deliver me from the deceitfulness of human traditions.

·         Father, in the Name of Jesus, teach me Your ways and make me prosper in them.

FAITH CONFESSION

I relate with my wife and children as Christ would because that is what makes me a good and godly husband in Jesus Name. Amen.
