YOU CAN FIX THE PROBLEM

Spread the love

Main Scriptures: Num.30:7-8

More Scriptures: 1Sam.30:18, Mk.16:11, 2Cor.5:19

If you study the Bible passage in Gen.2:14-15, you will discover that the God has given the man the enormous power to be in charge of his family. That is who you are. God has designed you to fix every challenge that shows up in your family. When God created you in Gen.2:7, He breathe His life into you so that you can behave like God. He made you in His image and likeness. You had every character of the God-like nature in you and so you are to demonstrate such kind of influence in the administration of your sheepfold. So, you must not run away from the challenges confronting your sheep and sheepfold. The reason why God put you as the head of your family is for you to manifest the authority He had placed in you in all areas of your leadership functions. Whether the challenge is over the health of your wife and children, the wayward attitude of your children, disrespect and disloyalty from your wife, financial challenges and much more, you can surmount them.

As the shepherd of the sheep, God is telling you that you don’t have to run away from home. Confront the challenge until it disappears forever and fix it where necessary. Sadly, most husbands have abandoned their families to their fate, leaving them to face the trials alone. This may explain why most husbands have lost the glory of their calling as the good shepherd. Their sheep no longer respect them neither do they honour them as the head of the family. You must understand that you are a soldier and you are in a warfare. Your position as the head of your family continues to pose a threat to the devil. So, you must never take a chance with him. You must continue to exercise your authority in God over the storms that may show up in your sheepfold.

But how do I fix the problems that are confronting me now? The first step for you is to appreciate that the challenges are real but more real is the truth that you can overcome them. If you allow this understanding to gain root in your mind, you will see every challenge as common. The Bible tells us that all temptations are common to all (1Cor.10:13). Secondly, sit with your Bible with the issue on the table. Locate relevant scriptures that talk about the matter. When you have identified the right stones. You then start to war in prayers with the truth that you have discovered from God’s Word, the Bible. If you follow these steps, wrapped in faith, you will find the challenges dissolve. When we had challenge with child bearing, I sat with my Bible side by side the problem. I located over 60 scriptures that showed me God’s will for my fruitfulness. With these truths, I went to war in prayer and fasting for 7 days. And to the glory of God, the barrier was broken and today we are parents of children.
