TERRITORIAL OCCUPATION

In the year 2002, the allied forces, comprising the United States of America and the European community joined forces and invaded Iraq. They alleged that Iraq had chemicals weapons and weapons of mass destruction. In fact, the forces dislodged the perceived government and occupied the territory for a long time.  

This is exactly the mentality that God wants you to have. He said therefore, a certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom and to return. And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds and said unto them, occupy till I come (Lk.19:12-13). God wants you to combine with the force of God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, to chase the enemies of your headship as the good and godly husband of your sheepfold. You are ordained by God to reign as the head of your family. God has given you the sheep and the sheepfold so that you can establish His will. The Scripture says, thy kingdom come and thy will be done on earth….(Matt.6:10). There is a way that God wants you to rule your sheepfold. He has a masterplan and He wants it to be reflected in everything that concerns your wife and children and your home. Satan is a thief. He is the one responsible for the loss of your health, your peace, your friendship with your sheep and much more. He is the person behind the decision to kill your wife or divorce her. For satan came to steal, to kill and to destroy….(Jn.10:10a). It is time for you to invade.

What must you occupy as the gatekeeper? The first is culture. The second is values. And the third is belief. As the leader in your sheepfold, there is the particular way God wants you to lead your sheep and live your life. God wants you to love your wife as Christ has loved His Church (Eph.5:25). God wants you to nurture your children in the way and admonition of the Lord (Eph.6:4). God wants you to serve your sheep with compassion and mercy. He wants you to be the lead provider in your sheepfold. He wants your children to be example of godly seeds. Furthermore, there are values that God wants you to establish in your sheep and sheepfold. The values of hard work, respect, service, help, giving and much more are what God wants for your sheepfold. Also, God wants you to teach your sheep to have the true belief-faith in God. God doesn’t want your sheep to be trusting in any other god but Him. He wants your home to be built upon Jesus Christ. So, if you observe that any of the culture, value and belief of God’s kingdom is absent in the lives of your sheep and sheepfold, it is time for you to partner with God and His Spirit to invade, occupy and install the will of God. That is what makes you the good and godly shepherd.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE

• Father, in the Name of Jesus, I invite You to lead me in battel over the forces of hell against my sheep and sheepfold.
• Father, in the Name of Jesus, upturn every ungodly value, culture and belief in my wife and children.
• Father, in the Name of Jesus, let Your kingdom principles rule the affairs of my sheep and sheepfold.

FAITH CONFESSION   

I invade every ungodly virtue, culture and belief in the lives of my sheep and install godly principles from heaven because that is what makes me the good and godly husband in Jesus Name. Amen.
