PARTAKERS OF YOUR GRACE

Spread the love

Main Scriptures: Philippians 1:7

More Scriptures: Jos.24:15. Deut.6:7, Acts 3:6

I want to ask you some very sincere questions. Have you imparted the grace of God on your life onto your wife and children? What measure of grace have you imparted on your sheep? And finally what type of grace have you imparted on them? As the head of your family and the spiritual leader of your wife and children, it is important for you to live out your life through your wife and children. Apostle Paul had this wonderful testimony about his relationship with his followers, the church in Philippi; ye are all partakers of my grace (Philp.1:7). There was something about his life that could be evidently seen in the lives of his followers. This is what God expects of you as the head of your family. People should relate with your wife and children and see your principles displayed. A time came after Jesus Christ had left the earth that His disciples went to minister in a place. And the people could see the life of Christ in them, for they exclaimed these men have been with Christ. However, for your wife to be partakers of your grace, it is important for you to know some of the graces you are to impart on your wife and children.

The graces are truthfulness, discipline, faith, courage, honesty, grace-filled words, forgiveness, hospitality, kindness, sacrificial living, temperance, prayers, fasting, giving and peace. But firstly, you must partner with the Person of the Holy Spirit to help you develop these graces in your life. And that you do through intense prayer. The word of God says that we should contend earnestly for the best gift.  As a leader, you cannot give what you don’t have (Acts 3:6). It’s only when you have been helped by the Holy Spirit to have these graces, working practically in your life that you can now transfer it to your wife and children. Secondly, you must be committed to working out your salvation with fear and trembling. You must continue to invest in your spirit man through the knowledge of Jesus Christ. Thirdly, you must hunger for the supply of the Spirit of Christ (Philp.1:19). Only the husband who hungers for the life of Christ receives the virtues and Spirits of Christ. One of the blessings of imparting godly graces upon your wife and children is that you will enjoy peace and be filled with joy of the Holy Ghost. Furthermore, your children shall be known among the Gentiles; and everyone who sees them shall acknowledge that they are the seed which the Lord has blessed (Is.61:9). You have a wonderful and an enviable position as a husband. Take full advantage and be a blessing to your wife and children.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE

  • Father, in the Name of Jesus, fill me with the fullness of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
  • Father, in the Name of Jesus, let Your virtues at work in my life flow speedily in the direction of my wife and children.
  • Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me with the spirit of truth and save me from the spirit of error.

FAITH CONFESSION

I give my whole life to Jesus Christ so that I may live out His life and impart same into my wife and children because that is what makes me the good and godly husband in Jesus Name. Amen.

God bless you sir and trust that you are fine. I am so glad that you continue to pray for your sheep and have not given up on them. I want to encourage you to please, continue to do that in faith. You keep declaring her return while you see how you can initiate a meeting to meet with her alongside any of her relatives to see how the matter that warranted her leaving the house can be resolved.

Because you have chosen to put your trust in God and the power of His word concerning your marriage, you will not be disappointed. God has restored your wife back to you in Jesus name. AMen.
