LIVING THE SUPERNATURAL (1)

Spread the love

Main Scriptures: Jas.5:17-18

More Scriptures: Rom.8:11, Jn.3:8, Mk.9:29

Elijah was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain, and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain and the earth brought forth her fruit (Jas.5:17-18).

Every good and godly husband is a supernatural being, empowered by the Spirit of God to effect positive changes in and around his environment. He has the power to command a turnaround in the lives of his wife and children. In fact, if Elijah could command and operate in the supernatural under the law, you, as a prophet over your flock and under grace, can do much more. Jesus speaking said that greater works than what He did on earth you will do. The Scripture in Jas.5:17-18 clearly validates your supernatural heritage. Elijah was a man like you and I. I also believe very strongly that he was also a husband. If you look at the teaching on the 360 degree husband, you will appreciate the position that you occupy in the office of the husbandman. In the husbandman, you are a man, a husband and a father. As a man, you possess enormous power capable of changing everything and anything around you. Elijah decreed that there will not be rain on the earth and it didn’t rain for three and half years. He also decided to change the course of nature, so he decreed that it should rain. And it rained. That is walking in the supernatural. Now, I want you to walk into that realm in your imagination for a moment. What can you see? And how do you feel? You are in charge of your flock. You are the game changer. You can direct and redirect the circumstances of life in the best possible way for the good of your flock. You can stop that sickness. You can stop that circle of defeat in your life and family. You can calm the raging storm threatening to destroy your life and that of your wife and children. Yes, you can. I mean, you can.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE

  • Father, in the Name of Jesus, I surrender my life to You and declare You as the Lord over my life.
  • Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to walk the supernatural life.
  • Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to reign as a king and a priest on the earth with proofs.

FAITH CONFESSION

I think, work, talk and walk the supernatural life and gain mastery of the circumstances of life because that is my heritage as a good and godly husband in Jesus Name. Amen.
