Let us take the fifth capsule.

Capsule 5: EVERY DIVINE CALL PROSPERS ON THE PLATFORM OF UNITY BETWEEN THE HUSBAND AND HIS WIFE

And ABRAM TOOK SARAI HIS WIFE and Lot his brother’s son and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan, and into the land of Canaan they came (Gen.12:5)

Did you know what the devil targets when he makes it impossible for you and your wife to walk in unity? Did you know what satan tries to achieve any time he causes a gap between you and your wife? I will tell. The first is for your prayer to be hindered. Husband dwell with your wife according to knowledge that YOUR PRAYER MAY NOT HINDERED (1Pet.3:7). So, your wife is not your real enemy, satan is. He wants to frustrate you and steal hope from you by ensuring that your prayers are not answered. The second reason is this. One shall chase a thousand, two shall put ten thousand to flight. There are some battles of life that you cannot fight alone, so you need a partner. And as the godly husbandman, the partner that God has ordained for you is your wife (Gen.2:18). I have seen the reality of this Scripture in my personal life. When I was a banker, I ran into a big battle that could have consumed my career quite early, if not that I joined my faith with my wife in prayers. Or is it when I had the challenge over my accommodation when the agent threatened to pull down my roof because of my inability to pay up my outstanding rent. Or is it the business breakthrough the God gave us. I have seen God come through for me because I was united with my wife in faith to overcome the challenges and press for our prosperity. Thirdly, satan will continue to fight the unity between you and your wife because of your children. Satan would rather have you and your wife divided so that he can break the godly influence both of you would have had on your children. And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And whereof one? THAT HE MIGHT SEEK A GODLY SEED. Therefore, take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of thy youth (Mal.2:15). So, your children are not your enemies, satan is.

So, do you want to prosper in ministry? Walk in unity with your wife. Do you want to see your prayer answered speedily over those challenges in your life? Walk in unity with your wife. But how do I walk in unity with my wife? You achieve that by praying for her intensely so that she can see what you are seeing, that is travailing until she confirms and aligns with your vision for the sheepfold.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE

• Father, in the Name of Jesus, forgive me for abandoning my wife in the pursuit of Your plan for our lives.
• Father, in the Name of Jesus, I resist every force of hell working against the unity between my wife and I.
• Father, in the Name of Jesus, open the eyes and ears of my wife and bind us together in love.

 FAITH CONFESSION

I come against the enemy of disunity between my wife and I because it is my gateway to a world of victory and progress as the good and godly husbandman in Jesus name. Amen.
