Bible Texts: Gen.1:26-28, Lk.10:19, Ps.133:2, Micah 3:8
Praise God! We are in the last of the series of the teaching on who we are as godly husbandmen. The Word of God has revealed to you that you have authourity over the works of satan, sin and the world. The Scripture also helps you to understand that you are in the lives of your wife and children to provide protection, healing, care, direction and so much more.
As the good and godly husbandman, you and I must recognize that our existence in the sheepfold where we are shepherds is to demonstrate the God-kind of life through Jesus Christ. The ultimate aim why God sends you to lead your sheep is for their blessings and upliftment. You and I must acknowledge that everything rises and falls on the husbandman. Behold, how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity. It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard, that went down to the skirts of his garments. (Ps.133:1-2).
God has committed His treasured assets (your wife and children) into your hands as a good steward. And as a good steward, you must give account of what you did or did not do with them. You and I must become to our sheep the God of power and authourity that they have heard and read about. If your wife or child(ren) is sick or being oppressed by the devil, charge at satan and command the sickness to leave them. If your sheep are held captive by the forces of ungodly habits, get in and command such forces to let them go. If your sheep has strayed away or stolen by satan, sin and the world, command their recovery and restoration. But truly, I am full of power by the Spirit of the Lord (Micah 3:8).
Let’s exercise the power of God for the good of our sheep because that is what makes you and I the good and godly husbandman of authority. Glory to Jesus Christ! Halleluyah!
SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to dominate all forms of oppression in and around my wife and children.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower to secure my sheepfold from all harassment of the enemy.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, make me a more than a conqueror shepherd.
FAITH CONFESSION
I exercise the authority of Jesus Christ over the works of satan, sin and the world, and secure my wife and children because that is what makes me the good and godly husbandman in Jesus name. Amen.
