FORCE OF CHANGE: DAY 34

Spread the love

DILIGENTLY GUARD THE KNOWLEDGE OF CHRIST IN YOU

Bible Texts: 1Tim.2:3-4, Jn.8:32, Ps.35:27, Jn.16:22, Col.2:8, Jn.10:10, Mk.9:29, Lk.18:1, Ps.1:1-3, Rom.16:17, Jn.5:39, 2Tim.2:15, Jn.10:10, Jos.1:66-8, Rom.12:1-3

One of the desires you and I must ask God for during this 70days of fasting and prayers is the grace to diligently guard the knowledge of the truth of God’s word in our hearts. This is because satan, sin and the world always looks for ways to distort the truth of Scriptures to make us satisfy the desires for the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and the pride of life (Pro.4:19-25, Jn.10:10). But if you and I can guard diligently the knowledge of Jesus Christ in our hearts, then we cannot be deceived by any wind of doctrine or philosophies of men.

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour, who will have all men to be saved and to come unto the KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH (1Tim.2:3-4)

Knowledge of the truth is the knowledge of Jesus Christ and it is powerful. The more of Christ and His word you have at work in you, the more powerful you will gloriously reign spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically, financially and relationally as the good and godly husbandman (Jn.8:32). So, you must guard the knowledge of God’s word in you, diligently.

To guard the knowledge of the truth from being stolen by satan, sin and the world, you must build a deeper relationship with the Person of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit by studying, meditating, praying and fellowshipping with the word of God (Ps.1:1, Jn.14:26). You must make prayer and fasting your lifestyle because it connects you to the power of God to hold onto the truth of God’s word regardless of the pressure from satan, man, and the world (Mk.9:29, Lk.18:1). You must also identify and fellowship with good and godly husbandmen in order to strengthen your faith and trust in the knowledge of the truth of God’s word in your life (Ps.133:2, 1Cor.15:33, Heb.10:25).

You have a glorious destiny as the husbandman, and this year is the beginning of that enviable destiny God has in store for you. But you must search the word of God, believe what it says and guard it so that you can be like the good ground that bears great fruits.

Praise be unto Jesus Christ!
