Did you know that, as the good and godly husbandman, one of the inheritances you enjoy from God is power and authority? This is what the Person of the Holy Spirit wants to teach you and I as husbandmen, today.
And when HE HAD CALLED UNTO HIM HIS TWELVE DISCIPLES, HE GAVE THEM POWER against unclean spirits, to cast them out and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease (Mk.10:1)
God has given you power and authority and He wants you to exercise it as you lead your life and the lives of your wife and children.
But why must I exercise authority and power?
God wants you to exercise power and authority in His Word so that you can live an effectual life
A great and effectual door is opened before you but there are many adversaries (1Cor.16:9)
As the husbandman who is growing to become the good and godly man, husband and father, many ungodly forces want to hinder you. These include unclean spirits like adultery, lying, covetousness, uncontrolled appetite for food, sex and money, unforgiveness and so much more. These spirits are from satan, sin and the world, and they are intended to defile you and make you unfit to conduct yourself in ways that please God. If you don’t exercise the power and authority of God which is in you, against these ungodly forces, you will not attain the fullness of your calling as the husbandman.
But for you to exercise the power of God against the forces of satan, sin, and the world, including unclean spirits, sickness and diseases, you must have a personal relationship with the One who gives power, Jesus Christ (Jn.3:3-7). This you do by repenting of your sins and asking Jesus Christ to come into your life to be your Lord and Personal saviour (2Cor.5:17).
Secondly, you must be conscious of who you are in Christ. The Scriptures say that we are seated far above……..(Eph.1:21) You are seated with the Husbandman, Jesus Christ, in the heavenlies, which is far above principalities, powers, and rulers of this world. So, once you notice that your mind is beginning to think of things that want to defile your walk with God, you immediately exercise your authority and command it to get out of your life.
You are the man of authority and power. Take your rightful place in God and His word and take complete charge of the circumstances of your life as the man, husband and father to the end that you become the good and godly husbandman.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, build my authority-consciousness as the husbandman.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me with the Spirit of power and authority over the works of satan, sin and the world.
- Father, in the name of Jesus, empower me to exercise Your power against unclean spirits, sickness and disease
FAITH CONFESSION
I am seated with Jesus Christ far above unclean spirits, sickness and disease and I walk in this consciousness and exercise the power of God over them because that is what gives me victory to be and maintain my walk as the good and godly husbandman in Jesus name. Amen.

Lord, Jesus, I come to you today, just as I am. I acknowledge that I have fallen short of Your glory. I ask for Your forgiveness of my sins today. I invite You into my life to be my Lord and Saviour. Thank You for saving my life.
