And be not conformed to this world but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God (Rom.12:2)
The change you want to see in your life as the husbandman begins in your mind. This means that until and unless your mind is renewed by the Word of God, you will not see the change you desire to see happen in your life. This is how powerful the quality of your mind is in affecting the quality of your life and conduct.
How do I renew my mind by the Word of God and benefit from it?
You must feed your mind with the truth from the word of God daily. One way to do this is by dedicating a set amount of time each day to reading your Bible. Your desire is to know Jesus Christ more and to find out His perfect will for the different areas of your life where you desire change. These areas may include your conversation, reaction, or responses, how you handle your emotions and appetite for food, sex, power, money, position, and authority, and knowing what God commands you to do for the good of your wife and children.
The next is for you to think on what God has said from His word and ask the Person of the Holy Spirit to impress it firmly in your heart (Philp.4:8, Rom.5:5, Ps.1:1). Thereafter, you keep praying for the word to have full expression in your life (Lk.18:1, Mk.9:23-29, Gal.4:19, Philp.2:13, Mk.14:26, Acts 2:1-4).
The Word of God is the power of God that changes anyone, including you. The Word of God is the food and light your life needs to be a transformed man, husband and father.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, open my eyes to see and my ears to hear the areas where I need to grow up.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, show me the way to go by Your word
- Father, in the name of Jesus, empower me to renew my mind with Your word and make me live Your perfect will.
FAITH CONFESSION
I have the mind of Christ and I feed and renew my spirit man with the word of God and live by the word of God because that is what makes me the good and godly husbandman in Jesus name. Amen.
