GOD HAS MADE YOU GOOD AND GODLY

But as many as received him, to them gave them power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.; which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man but of God. And the word was made flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth (Jn.1:12-14)

God wants the husbandman to fulfill his glorious destiny as the good and godly man, husband and father. God wants the husbandman to live the abundant life Jesus Christ came to give (Jn.10:10). Unfortunately, many are struggling to manifest the honour and glory that comes with being the husbandman. Some other husbandmen, even though they have good and godly intentions, are unable to reflect the same good and godly intentions in their relationships with their wife and children. Sadly, many more are helpless and have given up hope that anything good and godly can happen to them and through them. This is why you need the empowerment of the Holy Spirit to become all that God wants you to be as the husbandman (Matt.26:41, Jn.15:5, Jn.14:26, Philp.2:13).

It is not by power nor by might but by the Spirit of God (Zech.4:6)

As the man, husband and father, you cannot become the good and godly husbandman by your strength, skill, and wisdom. You need the empowerment and help of the Person of the Holy Spirit. This is because satan, sin and the world are visible and invincible forces strongly working fiercely against your fulfillment as the good and godly husbandman. You need a higher power, which only comes from God, to overcome them (Mic.3:8).

For you to access the power of God that will enable you to be fruitful as the husbandman, you must have and continue to deepen your relationship with the Person of the Holy Ghost. The Person of the Holy Spirit has all you need to become the good and godly husbandman, and He can empower you (Mic.3:8, Lk.10:19). Secondly, you must travail in prayer until the change you want to see happen in your life (Gal.4:19, Heb.11:6,33). Thirdly, you must be steadfast in your pursuit of what is good and godly, regardless of what may be happening around you (Matt.6:22).

God has empowered you to be a fruitful vine. Be ye fruitful! Be the good and godly husbandman.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE

• Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me by Your Spirit to be like You in all things.
• Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to manifest the full authority of my headship over satan, sin and the world.
• Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to obtain results as I lead and live as the good and godly husbandman.

FAITH CONFESSION

I am empowered by the Spirit of God and I exercise godly authority and manifest relevance as the good and godly husbandman in Jesus name. Amen.
