THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST IN YOU

As the good and godly husbandman, there is a life that God wants you to live. God wants you to reflect the nature and character of Jesus Christ because He is the perfect example of the husbandman. But you can only live this new life in Christ if you have the Spirit of Christ in you.

But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the SPIRIT OF CHRIST, he is none of his (Rom.8:9)

The Spirit of Christ empowers you to live a life of righteousness, holiness, compassion, mercy, temperance, sacrificial giving, provision, patience, kindness, and intercession.

As the husbandman, for you to access and manifest the Spirit of Christ that empowers you to live the life of Christ, you must rediscover who you are in Christ (Phlip.3:10-12). If you can discover who you are from God’s word, you become passionate to be like who God says you are. So, keep studying the Word of God, keep searching, keep meditating and thinking about what God has said about you from His Word.

You must keep engaging the power of prayer for the manifestation of the Spirit of Christ in your life (Lev.6:7-9, MK.9:29). The reason why you must engage this spiritual force is because your spirit is willing, but your flesh is weak. There is a constant war between your spirit and your flesh, and only by the empowerment from God through prayer will you be empowered to subdue the flesh and do all that pleases God (Rom.8:11).

The Spirit of Christ is in you by redemption. As the good and godly husbandman, you can be like Jesus Christ in all things to your wife, your children and in the marketplace.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE

• Father, in the Name of Jesus, deliver me from spiritual blindness and deafness and give me hearing ears and seeing eyes.
• Father, in the Name of Jesus, break the power of carnality in my life.
• Father, in the Name of Jesus, fill me up with the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus.

FAITH CONFESSION

I walk in the newness of life in Christ, and I live a life well pleasing unto God, my wife, children, and in the marketplace, because that is what makes me the good and godly husbandman in Jesus’ name. Amen.
