Bible Texts: Eph.5:1-2, Rom.5:5, Gal.4:19, Philp.2:13, Ps.1:1-3, Jos.1:6-8, Eph.5:25, Deut.28:1, Jn.3:7, Acts 1:1, 2Cor.5:17, Eph.1:18-19
We give God thanks and praise for His goodness, faithfulness, favour and mercies towards us these past nine (9) months of this year. God has done well for us, and to Him alone we give all the glory. We also give Him thanks for bringing us to the 1st day of October, which is also the last quarter of the year 2026. I decree and declare that this last quarter shall be your best season where God will do great and mighty works in your life resulting in fearful testimonies in Jesus name. Amen.
Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children, and walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling savor (Eph.5:1-2)
As we start this new month, I want to remind every husbandman that walking in the love of Christ is God’s perfect will for him (Rom.5:5). And it is the love of Christ in the life of the husbandman that empowers him to love his wife as Christ has loved the church and train his children in the way and admonition of the Lord (Rom.5:5, Eph.5:25, Eph.6:4).
So, how powerful is the love of Christ when it is at work in the life of the husbandman?
The love of Christ empowers the husbandman to behave like Christ in his conduct, thinking and responses to his wife and his children (Matt.5:14-16). The love of Christ empowers the husbandman to forgive and forget offences when he is hurt (Jn.10:1). It also makes him live a sacrificial life for the good of his wife and his children (Ps.23:1-6). The love of Christ empowers him to always place the interest of his wife and his children above his own interest, and to keep seeking the good and improvement of his wife and his children whether or not they deserve it (1Cor.13:4-8, Eph.5:25, Col.3:19, Eph.6:4).
How do I then walk in the love of Christ?
Hallelujah!

FAITH CONFESSION
I am redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ and by it I have the nature of Christ at work in me, and I am walking in love in all that I do because that is what makes me the good and godly husbandman in Jesus name. Amen.
