BECOMING LIKE CHRIST BY THE WORD OF GOD

Bible Texts: Heb.4:12-14, Ps.12:6, 2Pet.1:7, Jn.8:31-32, Rom.12:1-3, Eph.6:1, 1Pet.1:25, Jn.15:1-5, Rom.12:21, Acts 1:1, Jas.3:7, Ps.1:1-3, Eph.1:18-19

The greatest weapon God has given to every husbandman for a victorious living is His Word, because God is the Word and the Word is God (Jn.1:1-3).

The Word of God has many-sided power that gives you victory as the man, husband and father.

The Word of God has the power to renew your mind so you can think, act, and conduct yourself after the pattern of Jesus Christ as you relate with your wife, your children and with others in the marketplace (Rom.12:2).

The Word of God has the power to set you free from free from satan, sin, addictions and all forms of ungodly habits because it is backed by the Spirit of Christ (Ezk.2:2, Jn.6:63, Jn.8:32).

The Word of God gives life and sanctifies because the life God wants you to live as the good and godly husbandman is in the Word (Jn.5:39).

The Word of God empowers you to love your wife as Christ has loved the Church and train your children in the way and admonition of the Lord (Eph.5:25, Eph.6:4).

But why is the Word of God so powerful it can make me become the good and godly husbandman?

For the WORD OF GOD is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart (Heb.4:12)

As the husbandman, you must understand that the Word of God is not your alternative in your journey to becoming the good and godly man, husband and father. The Word of God and its application in your life by taking responsibility is all you need to become all God wants you to be.

Hallelujah!

FAITH CONFESSION

I engage with the Word of God, passionately, I believe what it says and I act exactly as it commands, because it is life-giving to my walk as the good and godly husbandman in Jesus name. Amen.
