Any husband who touches the accursed things have brought curses upon his family. Some families are suffering under satanic bondage because of what their fathers and husbands have touched. Some husbands have stolen someone’s money and the person has placed a curse on him. Some other husbands have eaten the rewards of other people who have worked for them. There are still other husbands who entered into devilish covenants all in the name of getting wealth, fame and protection and later in life their children begin to suffer under undue limitations in their careers, finances, health and destiny.
But what if I have indulged in any of these areas mentioned, how do I and my sheep escape the consequences? The first step for you is to repent. What this means is that you acknowledge that you have made mistake and invite Jesus Christ into your life. The Word of God tells us that there is therefore no more condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus (Rom.8:1). The second step for you is to renounce and throw away every object that represents the accursed thing in and around you. You must never go back to your vomit. You must never associate with those things that brought you the pains that you and your sheep suffered. I love the song and I want you to sing it loudly. The things I used to do, I do them no more (3x). There is a great change since I’m born again. The third action step is for you to engage the weapon of the blood of Jesus Christ by pleading it over your life and that of your sheep. Remember that you are the priest. And your pronunciations and decrees over your sheep are unquestionable (Nums.30:6-8). Your wife and children all came from you. You are the source and they are your resources (Gen.2:18, Gen.4:1). You determine what happens to them by the power of the spoken word. The blood of Jesus is powerful to reverse any consequence of the curse. Keep pleading the blood.
Be careful what you do with your life as the head of the family. You are not only living your life for yourself you are also living it for your family. God has a glorious heritage for you and your sheep. He loves you so much that He wants you to be the channel of blessings to your sheep and the world around you. You are His light and ambassador to your wife and children. Embrace righteousness and flee from the accursed things.
SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, I repent from getting involved and touching the cursed things.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, I plead for Your mercy over every wrong action I had taken in time past.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, please restore a new beginning of blessings for my life and my sheep.
FAITH CONFESSION
I am in Christ Jesus and I am not condemned but justified by the blood of Jesus Christ and so my sheep and I celebrate in the blessings of the Lord as the good and godly husband in Jesus name. Amen.
