THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD BIRTHS MIGHTY WORKS

Spread the love

Main Scriptures: Acts 7:21-22

More Scriptures: Pro.3:20, Pro.20:15, Is.33:6

And when he was cast out, Pharaoh’s daughter took him up and nourished him for her own son. And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians and was mighty in words and in deeds. (Acts 7:21-22). Do you want to be mighty in words and deeds as husband and the spiritual leader in your sheepfold? Do you want to do great and mighty works as a husband? Do you want your wife and children and even the world to see you as a husband who is mighty in works? Do you want to be a husband who is graceful in words towards your flock? I am sure that you desire to be mighty in words and in deeds. But there is a price you must be willing and ready to pay. And that price is to seek the knowledge of God and His word for sheep.

Moses, a shepherd like you and me sought to know the working knowledge of the Egyptians. And as a result, he knew what, how and when to act in matters while he was in Egypt. This is the lesson for you and I as the head of our family. That we must seek to know our sheep. Your wife and children are persons that could be studied. You can study your wife. You can also study your children. You can read all about the will, plan and purpose of God for your wife and children in the Bible. There are other anointed literatures and audio materials that would reveal what you need to know about your sheep. Moses learned all there was about the Egyptians and he prospered as a leader in Egypt. You can also do the same as a leader.

You must make effort to learn about your wife and children. It is the quantity and quality of the knowledge of God that you have concerning your wife and children that increases your confidence level. It also empowers you to handle your flock with the wisdom of God. For instance, you cannot deal with your wife according to knowledge if you do not understand her personality(1Pet.3:7). You cannot nurture your children in the admonition and way of the Lord until you know who your child is and what the Bible says about him or her (Eph.6:4). In 2Tim.2:15, the Scripture says, study to show thyself approved unto God as a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Jesus speaking said, and you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free (Jn.8:32).

If you want to enjoy freedom and peace with your wife and children, you must step up your knowledge game about them from the word of God-The Bible. The more you know them the better you will respond to them as the godly man, husband and father. You must desire to know your wife and children and keep discovering new and exciting opportunities about them. You cannot be greater than what you know. You cannot be better on a subject more than the knowledge you have.

FAITH CONFESSION

I am committed to study the BIBLE to know the perfect will of God for my wife and children so that I could be mighty in words and in deeds as a good and godly husband in Jesus name. Amen.

A Christian counselor is a specific type of counselor, but unlike other (cellular) counselors, a Christian counselor draws on God’s wisdom from the Bible. A Christian counselor is very useful when dealing with Christians.
