Bible Texts: Eph.5:14-17, 1Cor.15:33, Rom.12:1-3, Matt.6:22, Jn.7:9-11, Is.43:18-19, 2Cor.5:20, 2Tim.4:7-8, Philps.3:14, Ps.1:1-3, Matt.5:14-16
Wherefore, he saith awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time because the days are evil. Wherefore, be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is (Eph.5:14-17)
The above Bible passage comes with important instructions for you and I, as we journey through the remaining months of the year 2026.
The first is that your life as the husbandman is measured by time. Secondly, what you and I will become as the good and godly man, husband and father depends on how we spend our time this year. Thirdly, your time and mine can be stolen, lost and abused if we do not redeem the time allotted for the year 2026.
Now, what does it mean to redeem the time? It simply means using time wisely, setting the right priorities, pursuing the perfect will of God, identifying the right values from the word of God, and letting the instructions of Scripture influence your decisions and actions.
You and I must not run the remaining months of 2026 carelessly. You and I must make good use of the time of each day, each week and each month by giving attention to learning and doing those things that will build us up to becoming the good and godly men, husbands and fathers.
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ (Philp.2:5)
You have the mind of Christ. Jesus Christ, the perfect example of the good and godly husbandman, redeemed the time He spent while He walked the earth (Jn.7:9-11). Every day counted for Him. He went about each day with a clear purpose. He made an eternal impact on humanity. That is the mind you must have.
You must begin to rebuild your life and live as the good and godly man, husband and father. You must make the months ahead and beyond count profitably for yourself as the good and godly husbandman.
Hallelujah!
