Can the husbandman be perfect? Can he outgrow the natural tendencies that birth sin and unrighteousness? Can he be transformed into the image and likeness of Jesus, the perfect example of the good and godly husbandman?
The answer to these questions is a resounding YES. The husbandman can be like Jesus Christ to his wife, his children, and in the marketplace. That is the perfect will of God for him.
The disciple is not above his master but EVERYONE THAT IS PERFECT SHALL BE AS HIS MASTER (Lk.6:40)
As the husbandman, Jesus Christ is your master. The Bible describes Him as the husbandman, who demonstrated how the man, husband and father should conduct his life (Eph.5:25). If there is anyone you must emulate in your leadership role, as the good and godly husbandman is Jesus Christ.
But for you to be like Jesus Christ, your Master, you must first and very importantly have a personal relationship with Him (2Cor.5:17). You must love Jesus Christ with the whole of your heart, might, soul, body and spirit, and remain in love.
You must be willing and committed to doing all that God commands you to do as the man, husband and father, even if they do not appear convenient for you or unpopular (Jas.1:22). You must press hard to do the perfect will of God for your life as the husbandman so that you can be as Him.
You must continue to engage in word study, meditation, prayers, and fasting so you can access the power that will make you do the perfect will of God in everything (Philp.2:13).
God made you in the image and likeness of Jesus Christ. And because Jesus Christ is perfect, you also can be, living out righteousness, peace, and joy as you lead your wife, your children, and your life.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, fill my heart with your word of life and let it gain root downward.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me with the spirit of truth, righteousness and help me to obey all Your instructions.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, make my life a living sacrifice and empower me to be as Jesus Christ is.
FAITH CONFESSION
I have the life of Christ and His Spirit dwells in me and by grace I am living the life of Jesus Christ in my thoughts, words and conduct because that is what makes me the good and godly man, husband and father in Jesus name. Amen.
