Today’s teaching is a reminder to the good and godly husbandman that he is a change agent and a change-maker. If it takes one person to bring a curse on a family, it will only require one man to reverse it and bring a blessing to the family. And you are that man, that change agent.
CHRIST hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us; for it is written, cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree; that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith (Gal.3:13-14)
It took only Jesus Christ to bring the blessing of Abraham and the promise of the Spirit to the Gentiles. It was Abraham who brought the promise of God to Israel (Gen.12:1-3). You are the good and godly agent through whom the new life in Christ can be evident in your family.
As the good and godly husbandman, any curse of the law or evil pattern such as untimely death, lack of success, lack of education, joblessness, barrenness, poverty, no tangible or slow in accomplishing set goals, or any such curse, that have been identified in the family lineage you were born into can be stopped by you in your new family (2Cor.5:17). You can reset a new foundation in Christ for your family. You don’t have to suffer what your forefathers or parents suffered. You don’t have to repeat the same failures as your parents. You are a change maker!
For you to be a change agent and a change driver, you must have and maintain a relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ, by repenting of your sins, and accepting Him as your Lord and personal saviour (Jn.3:4-7).
You must give attention to the study of and meditation in the Bible. (Jn.5:39). The Word of God gives you a much better picture of your future in Christ (Jas.1:25).
You must engage and keep engaging the weapons of prayer and fasting to enforce the manifestation of the new life you now have in Christ, which must manifest in your life and your family (Lk.18:1, Gal.4:19, Philp.2:13, Mk.9:29).
You must walk in the consciousness of the newness life in Christ by faith through your bold declaration (Rom.8:1, Rom.10:10, Heb.11:3).
You must walk in total obedience to all that God commands you to do as the man, husband, and father (Deut.28:1-2).
God has given you a new beginning in Jesus. God has a glorious destiny for your family. You have a new foundation in Jesus. You now have a better family lineage in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary. So, don’t settle for or accept any negative recurring family history. Settle into your new family whose foundation is on Jesus Christ, and be the change agent and the change maker!

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, redeem me from the curse of the law and set a new foundation for my life and family.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to walk in the newness of life in Christ.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to be the change agent for the restoration of Your glorious destinies for my family.
FAITH CONFESSION
I offer myself to God as a threshing instrument and as a change agent and a change maker for the release of the glorious lineage and heritage for my family in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
