Bible Texts: Col.1:9-11, Jer.29:11, Jn.3:3, Philp.2:13, 2Cor.5:17, Rom.12:1-2, Philp.3:10, Rom.6:1, Mk.9:29, Rom.6:13, 2Cor.7:1, Jos.1:6-8, Ps.1:1-3
As the husbandman, God wants you to walk worthily, pleasing Him in all things. God is always thinking about how you can become all that He has created you to be. God wants you to be filled with wisdom and spiritual understanding. Your heavenly Father wants you to be the good and godly man, husband and father. But you must keep growing and increasing in the knowledge of Him.
For this cause we also, since the day we heard it do not cease to pray for you and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. Strengthen with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and long suffering with joyfulness (Col.1:9-11)
But to increase in the knowledge of God you must have and maintain a relationship and fellowship with God through Jesus Christ (Jn.3:3, 2Cor.5:17, 2Cor.7:1, Rom.12:1-2, Rom.6:1, Rom.6:13). This will make you take delight in the Lord and do only those things that He commands you to do as the man, husband and father (Deut.28:1-2).
You must continue to give attention to the study and meditation of the Word of God (Philp.3:10, 2Tim.2:15). The Word of God carries the Spirit of God, so as you study and meditate on the Word of God, you encounter the Spirit of God that empowers you to please God (Ezk.2:2, Philp.2:13).
You must continue to engage the weapon of prayer so that you can be supernaturally empowered by God to do His perfect will and subdue every ungodly forces of satan (Mk.9:29).
As the husbandman, you have a great destiny with your heavenly Father, and it is this great destiny that God wants you to showcase to your wife, your children, and in the marketplace. God is more than a prayer-answering God. He is your Father. Therefore, let God’s love toward you inspire and motivate you to live the life of the good and godly husbandman, bringing glory to Jesus Christ.
Hallelujah!
