But I would have know, that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is the man, and the head of the Christ is God (1Cor.11:3)
As the good and godly husbandman, you must recognize that you influence your wife and your children by what they see you do, much more than what they hear you say. And this is what motivates them to want to follow you and model their lives after you.
So, your leadership influence begins when you allow Jesus to influence your own life, by submitting to Him in all things. The more you submit to the will and instructions of Jesus Christ as spelt out in the Word of God the more your life reflects in your own life. And that is what your wife and children will see and follow you to serve Him (Jos.24:15).
Therefore, keep searching the Word of God, keep studying the life of Christ as the husbandman and continue to submit to His leadership. It will not be long before you also begin to command good and godly influence in the lives of your wife and your children (Matt.5:14-16, Eph.5:24, Eph.6:4, Col.3:19).
You have been ordained by God to influence your wife and your children unto goodness and godliness, but you must first and continue to allow the influence of Christ, which is the power of Jesus, to be dominant in your life.

- Father, in the Name of Jesus, I surrender my will, emotions, and my body to You.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, I give You my life, my soul and my thoughts as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, please let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to You.
FAITH CONFESSION
I consciously and willingly declare You, Jesus Christ, as the Lord over my life because that is the gateway for me to become the good and godly influence over my wife and children and in the marketplace as the good and godly husbandman in Jesus’ name. Amen.
PRAYER OF SALVATION/REDEDICATION
Now that you have read the devotional, you need to have a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ (1Tim.2:4). It is the first step in your walk of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
Please, pray this prayer of salvation in faith.
Lord Jesus, I come to you today just as I am. I acknowledge that I have fallen short of Your glory. I ask for Your forgiveness of my sins today. I invite You into my life to be my Lord and Saviour. Thank You for saving my life.
