A few days ago, the Person of the Holy Spirit reminded me of something I had seen at a grocery store sometimes back. It was a display of a beverage, and on it was written, “3-in-One: Chocolate, Milk and Sugar”. This means that the beverage drink has three (3) ingredients combined into one sachet, and that is what gives it its unique value. That is who you are as the husbandman.
As the husbandman, you are a three-in-one personality. You are the man, the husband and the father combined. And your value is appreciated by God, your wife and your children when you apply yourself to and act the three personalities according to the standards in the Word of God.
So, let us look at the transition and combination of your true person.
And God said, let us make man in our image and after our likeness……(Gen.1:26).
As the husbandman, you are a man. And as a man, you are to have a deep fellowship and relationship with God through Jesus Christ (Deut.6:5, Lk.10:27, Mk.22:37). That is what defines you to be like God to your wife, your children, at home, and in the marketplace.
And God said, it is not good that the man, should be alone. I will make him a help meet for him (Gen.2:18)
The same man now has another personality- a husband. As the husbandman, you are also a husband (Gen.21-25, Matt.19:5-6). And as a husbandman, God commands you to love your wife as Christ has loved the church and gave Himself to it (Eph.5:25, Col.3:19, 1Pet.3:7).
And Adam knew Eve his wife, and she conceived, and bare Cain………(Gen.4:1)
As the husbandman, you are also a father. You carry the seed that bears children and you are to nurture your children in the way and admonition of the Lord (Deut.6:7-9, Eph.6:4, 1Tim.3:3-4).
God wants you to succeed as the man, husband and father at the same time (3Jn.1:2). What you must do is to search the Scripture to find out the mind of God for each of the personality, commit yourself to the demands, and engage yourself in doing what the tasks required.
Hallelujah!

GOOD REPORT FROM THE FIELD
- I really appreciate the day in day out devotional teaching. I have been on for roughly 4 weeks, and it has helped me calm down, hold myself accountable to my household and share Jesus Christ through my actions (James, W).
