Everyone that Jesus Christ, the perfect example of a good and godly husband, met, He did not leave them the same way He met them. He met Simon, a stark fisherman, and He transformed him and made him Peter, the rock. He met the woman caught in the very act of adultery and He made her a woman whose sins were forgiven. He met the Samaritan woman at the well and He made her an evangelist. That is what God expects of you as the head of your family. Your association with your wife and children is to make them into the image and likeness of God.

Whatever name you call your wife that is what she will be to you. If you call her a fool, she will act foolishly towards you and your instructions. If you call her an illiterate, it would be difficult for you and her to have intelligent conversations. If you call her a witch, you will suffer witchcraft oppression. If you call her a woman of honour and full of wisdom, she will honour you and display the God-kind of wisdom that not even you or your adversary shall be able to resist or contradict. So, the choice is yours

Another covenant step you must take to become a husband of affluence is to walk in love towards God, your wife and children and the dying world. You must allow the love of God to be shed abroad in your heart. You must live above bitterness, unforgiveness, anger, regrets, revenge, pride and everything that is contrary to the character of the love of God.
