Honestly, it leaves a negative lasting impact on them and a bitter taste in their mouth. It also creates a distance between you and them. And this is why Jesus, the perfect example of a good and godly husband, gave us an example to follow in our Bible passage we just read from Mk.6:33-37.

What they need the most from you is mentorship. That is what is more enduring than anything else. And that is exactly what Jesus Christ, who is the perfect example of a good and godly husband, tries to teach in Matt.17:14-21.
