God wants you to be more interested in the well-being of your wife and children than even yourself. God wants you to break through the barriers to reach your sheep. God wants you to act like the good shepherd would to his sheep. God wants you to put your life on the line for your flock.
Leave a CommentDo you know that as a good and godly husband, one of the baptisms of Jesus Christ you receive is the baptism of compassion? Jesus Christ was full of compassion and mercy towards all that He came in contact with. He worked hard to be a better shepherd to His sheep. And this inspired Him to go about doing good and delivering all that were oppressed of the devil. He met two blind men and He asked them what do you want me to do for you? They responded, “we want to seeâ€. He was moved with compassion at their pain and discomfort and He restored their sight. This is the attitude God wants you to have towards your wife and children.
Leave a CommentIt is possible for your wife who may have abandoned her duties as woman, wife and mother to be restored. It is possible for the health of your wife and children to be recovered. It is possible for your wayward son or daughter to be reconciled with you. It is possible for peace to return to your sheepfold. It is possible for you to love your wife again. It is possible for you to get back your job that you lost.
Leave a CommentGod doesn’t want you to justify why you cheated on your wife. He also doesn’t want you to give reasons why you fall into sin. God wants you to be honest with Him. He wants you to walk to Him the same way a child will walk back to his or her earthly father, when they are wrong. Jesus loves you so much and He wants you to be useful and profitable to your wife, children and the world. He doesn’t hate you but He dislikes your sins. Return today; and I say return to Him today.

Jesus Christ is the perfect example of a good and godly husband. He represents the nature and character of a man, husband and father. He remains the best model for every husband.

It is not only an abuse of privilege; it is a demotion to the value of the husbandman if you do not work. You must understand that you are the provider in your sheepfold
Leave a CommentAs the head of the family, you cannot afford to be careless with the words that come from your mouth to your wife and children. You cannot also be careless with just any thought that comes to your mind. In all things, you must exercise watchfulness.

Leave a CommentNo intruder has the right to enter your house, except you permit him. No uninvited elements can break into your sheepfold if you don’t allow them. You are like that bouncer around the music star. You are strong, watchful and firm. As the head of the family, you have been called unto greater responsibilities- to keep and secure your wife and children against the devil, sin and the world. God has entrusted into your hands the lives of your wife and children. If anything happens to them, God will hold you accountable, just the same way he held the first husband, Adam, accountable for the failure of his wife and family in Gen.3:9.
Leave a CommentAs the head of the family, it is important that your wife and children see the nature of God the Father in you, if you want them to have a fatherly relationship with God. But you cannot achieve this if you don’t have a relationship with God, through prayers. Praying is communicating with God. It is a sign of maturity.
