UNDERSTANDING THE HUSBANDMAN, JESUS CHRIST (2)

Spread the love

Bible Texts: Heb.12:1-2, Luke 24:26, 1Jn.3:8

Yesterday, we began by saying that Jesus understood His purpose on earth. He knew He is the saviour of the world.  He knew that He came that man may have abundant life. So, He pursued His assignment with all diligence, commitment and sacrifice. And God crowned Him with glory and honour.

The questions you must ask yourself today on this day of the year 2022 are these. What is the purpose why God made me the head of my family? What is the purpose why God made me a husband and what is the purpose why God made me a father? The late Dr. Myles Munroe said that where purpose is not known abuse is inevitable.

There is a purpose why God sent you to earth. There is an assignment God wants you to accomplish. There is a job God wants you execute. God chose you for your wife out of the many men for a purpose. God made you to be the father of your children out of the many men who would have married your wife and bear children for you. You are not an accidental husbandman waiting to happen. God has already made you happen.

The one who does what is sinful is of the devil because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work (1Jn.3:8) NIV. The King James Version says for this purpose was the Son of man manifest….

But where do you get the source of your purpose as the good and godly man, husband and father? It is in the Bible. Now let’s look at the word of God to discover why God chose you among many men to be the husband to your wife and father to your children.
