Bible Texts: Mk.9:17-29, Lam.3:22, Matt.9:36
The Bible passage in our text today is quite long. But I will pen down verses 22 to 24. Thereafter, I will share my personal testimony from this Scripture to encourage every father that they have an anchor in Jesus Christ. If a father can learn how to pray for his children, he will stand tall and be in command of his children’s life and destinies. I saw the realities of this truth and I want to share it with you. It is my personal testimony.
Master, I have brought unto thee my son which hath a dumb spirit…….and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out and they could not…….And they brought him unto him (Jesus Christ)…….and he fell on the ground and wallowed foaming. And he asked his father, how long is it ago since this came unto him? And he said, of a child. And oftentimes it hath cast him into the fire and into the waters, to destroy him, BUT IF THOU CANST DO ANYTHING, HAVE COMPASSION ON US AND HELP US. (Mk.9:17-22).
The Scripture in Mark chapter 9 and verses 17 to 22 was about a father whose son was tormented by the devil. The son was not just afflicted with dumbness, he also had bruises on his body because oftentimes he fell into water and fire. It was a burden on his father. But the Father loved his child and will not give up on his child. He desperately wanted his son to be free from the torment. He knew where to go. He went to Jesus Christ, the Great Healer.
This is what the father said to Jesus Christ when he was asked if he believed his son can be healed. But if thou canst do anything, HAVE COMPASSION ON US AND HELP US (Mk.9:22). To the glory of God, his son was completely healed and made whole.

- Father, in the Name of Jesus, bring my family and I to our wealthy places (Ps.66:12)
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, make us upwardly prosperous in silver and gold and let us abound unto every good works from 2022 (Hag.2:8)
