We give God all the glory and praise for making us see the last day in the month of April 2026. He has done us well and blessed us as men, husbands, fathers and Mission. To Him alone we give all the glory.
Today’s teaching is to remind every husband that he is accountable, no matter his status. This is to help the husbandman walk in humility of heart and in service unto God, and to his wife and his children.
But who is the husband accountable to?
The head of Christ is God and the head of the man is Christ and the head of the wife is the husband (1Cor.11:1-6)
The Bible gives the accountability structure. God’s Word says that the Head of Christ is God, the head of the husband, that is you, is Christ, and the head of the wife is the husband. What this means is that the same way you demand accountability and submission from your wife is the same way Christ also requires your accountability and submission to Him and His Word. The same way Jesus Christ does only those things that please the Father because He is under the authority of God, is the same way you must also submit your life to Jesus Christ and do what He commands you to do as the man, husband and father.
There is doubt about your headship (leadership) over your wife, but you must keep submitting to the leadership of Jesus Christ by His Word. This is the way you can also enjoy good and godly submission from your wife.
As the good and godly husbandman, your wife has not learnt how to be accountable to your leadership because she has not seen your accountability to Jesus Christ, whom you claim you love and follow (Lk.6:38, Acts 1:1). So change!
God wants you to enjoy your leadership as the husbandman. He wants you to lead a good and godly life. He wants your wife and children to submit and obey you, in all good and godly things. But you have a responsibility to first learn to submit your life, will and emotions to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
Therefore, bring yourself under the authority of Jesus Christ in your thoughts, will, emotions and actions and watch how your life will influence your wife and children to submit willingly and joyfully to your leadership as the good and godly man, husband and father.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, I surrender my will, emotions, my body to You.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, I give You my life, my soul and my thought as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, please let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to You and let it influence my wife and my children to follow my leadership.
FAITH CONFESSION
I consciously and willing declare You, Jesus Christ, as the Lord over my life because that is the gateway for me to become the good and godly influence over my wife and children and in the market place as the good and godly husbandman in Jesus name. Amen.

Please, pray this prayer of salvation in faith.
Lord, Jesus, I come to you today, just as I am. I acknowledge that I have fallen short of Your glory. I ask for Your forgiveness of my sins today. I invite You into my life to be my Lord and Saviour. Thank You for saving my life.
