Today’s teaching is to help the husbandmen who are pastors, evangelists, prophets, and teachers of the Word of God balance their work as ministers and their families. This is because a lot of ministers of the gospel are struggling to balance these two very important assignments.
Many have succeeded in ministry but have failed in their family life. Many more have broken marriages, living with bitterness, hurting wives, and contending with rebellious children. This is because many are seeking to build the ministry, expand the church network, and reach out and bring many to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, while neglecting the first assignment-the family (Gen.2:18-25, Mal.2:14, Matt.19:5-8).
As the husbandman in ministry, God wants you to succeed in your calling and in your family. God wants you to have the best, not the worst, of times as the man, husband, and father. It is not God’s will that you end up like Prophet Samuel, who succeeded in ministry but failed in family (1Sam.8:1-5).
For after all these things do the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first THE KINGDOM OF GOD and HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS and all these things shall be added unto you (Matt.6:33)
As a man of God, there are two very important pursuits you must seek if you want to enjoy the fullness of God in your life as the husbandman. God wants you to seek His kingdom and His righteousness (Matt.6:33). This means that you must promote the kingdom of God on earth by pursuing the call of God upon your life and, at the same time, doing the right things as commanded by the word of God as the man, husband and father.
This is a true saying, if a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work………one that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity. For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God? (1Tim.3:1-5)
Your leadership at home is as important to God as your ministry. Hence, you must seek the wisdom of God to work out your kingdom calling and responsibilities as the man, husband, and father with the fear of God. That is the only way you can live and be a testimony as the good and godly man, husband, and father.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, forgive me for failing in my assignment as the man, husband and father
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, give me the wisdom to balance ministry and family.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, help me to succeed as a minister of the gospel and as the family man.
FAITH CONFESSION
I receive grace to continue to seek the establishment of the kingdom of God on earth and at the same time discharge my responsibilities as the man, husband and father because that is what makes me the good and godly husbandman in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
