I press on toward the goal unto the prize of the high calling of God in Christ….And I run toward the goal to take the victory of the calling of God……..(Philp.3:14-15)
As the husbandman, you have a glorious destiny in Jesus Christ, and God wants you to keep pressing until you become the good and godly husbandman.
You are pressing on to become the good and godly husbandman because God has ordained you to be in command of the circumstances and situations in and around your home (Gen.2:15).
You must keep pressing in the Word until you receive authority and power to protect and preserve your wife, your children, and your home from all forms of satanic and worldly influences (Jn.10:30).
As the good and godly husbandman, you must take personal responsibility to keep pressing in the Word of God. No one will do it for you, but you.
The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and EVERYMAN PRESSETH UNTO IT (Lk.16:16)
The Word of God says that every man pressed. This is both a choice and a personal responsibility you must make to see that your life and the lives of your wife and your children come under the influence of God and His righteousness.
Therefore, keep pressing onto the goal of your high calling as the good and godly husbandman.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower my faith to believe all things and never give up on You and Your word for my life as the man, husband and father.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, destroy every root of hopelessness, fear, and discouragement in my life.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to pursue, tirelessly, Your perfect will for my life as the husbandman.
FAITH CONFESSION
I have faith, trust and hope in God and His word and I press towards the mark of the high calling to become a vessel of honour unto God because that is what makes me the good and godly man, husband and father in Jesus’ name. Amen.
PRAYER OF SALVATION/REDEDICATION
Now that you have read the devotional, you need to have a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ (1Tim.2:4). It is the first step in your walk of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
Please, pray this prayer of salvation in faith.
Lord Jesus, I come to you today just as I am. I acknowledge that I have fallen short of Your glory. I ask for Your forgiveness of my sins today. I invite You into my life to be my Lord and Saviour. Thank You for saving my life.
