THE LAW OF CONTINUOUS LEARNING

Bible Texts: 2Tim.2:15, Jn.5:39, Ps.1:2, Jos.1:6-8, Pro.4:20-22, Eph.1:18-19, Jn.14:26, Pro.20:12, Matt.13:16

Over the past two days, the Person of the Holy Spirit is helping you and I, as husbandmen, to understand that our lives and conduct are guided by the principles of Scriptures, which are laws of the Lord for the husbandman. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ that you will give yourself to the demands of the word of God for your life as the man, husband and father.

Another principle or law that you must be aware of and commit to obeying is the law of continuous learning. What does this law say? It says that if you must make progress in your walk with God as the good and godly husbandman, you must search and keep searching the Scriptures in order to learn. This means that the husbandman must be a life-long student of the word of God, as well as other anointed books or tapes.

Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (2Tim.2:15)

If you want to show yourself approved unto God in your thoughts, words, action, conduct, responses and reactions, you must be influenced by the word of God. And that can only happen when you study the Bible for yourself with the Person of the Holy Spirit helping you (Jn.14:26). If you want to save yourself from shame and foolishness, then you must study and invest your money in buying anointed books.

The Bible is God’s mind for you as the husbandman and God has also raised anointed vessels to teach His counsel to you. And to the glory of God, The Husbandman Mission International is one of the ministries ordained by God for that purpose. But you must delight in the law of the Lord if you must make the best of your calling as the husbandman (Ps.1:1-2).

But why must I study and delight myself in the law of the Lord?

Search the Scriptures, for in them ye think ye have eternal life and they are they which testify of me (Jn.5:39).

Firstly, the sure word you need to be successful as the husbandman is the word of God because the word of God is reliable, assuring, true and dependable. The more you study the word of God, the more you testify of His goodness in your life as the man, husband and father, and the more you be like Jesus Christ in thoughts, conduct, action and responses.

My son, attend to my words, incline thine ears unto my sayings. For they are life unto those who find them and health to all their flesh (Pro.4:20,22)

Secondly, when you give attention to the word of God, it gives life and meaning to who you are as the husbandman. The word of God you have studied gives healthiness and vitality to your relationship with God and with your wife and children and in the market place. The word of God is the medicine that cures anything that is wrong with your life and mends the bond you have with God and with your wife and children.

Therefore, be a life time learner of the word of God. It is the living words of God. It is the compass that gives you direction for a successful journey as the husbandman. Study it, meditate on it and act on what it commands and watch how your life will transform into the good and godly husbandman, thereby impacting your wife, children and the marketplace, positively.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE

• Father, in the Name of Jesus, deliver me from the spirit of laziness and slumber.
• Father, in the Name of Jesus, baptize me with a diligent spirit to study the word of God-The Bible and other anointed materials.
• Father, in the Name of Jesus, open my eyes and ears as I study Your word and make me a doer of Your word.

FAITH CONFESSION

I give attention to studying the Bible which is the word of God and I obey all the laws of Scriptures for the office of the husbandman because that is what makes me the good and godly man, husband and father in Jesus name. Amen.

• Father, in the Name of Jesus judge with Your fury every man or woman who has stood against my family’s fruitfulness
