GUARD THESE THREE AREAS OF INFLUENCE (1)

As we tarry in the word of God and in prayers and fasting, there is one important prayer I want every husbandman to pray. And that is the power to guard the three (3) areas of influence of his life. This is because these areas will either influence him to become the good and godly husbandman or influence him to do the opposite of what God commands him to do as the man, husband and father.
Now, what are the three areas of influence God wants me guard so that I can be the good and godly husbandman? The answer is in Psalms chapter 1.
Blessed is the man that WALKETH not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor STANDETH in the way of sinners, nor SITTETH in the seat of the scornful (Ps.1:1)
The word of God mentions the three areas of influence: walk, stand and sit.
God wants you to guard who you walk with. He does not want you to walk in the counsel of the ungodly because they will give you ungodly counsel that are contrary to the word of God (Eph.5:25, 1Pet.3:7-9, Eph.6:4, Rom.12:21, Gal.4:19).
The second is that God wants you to guard who you stand with. God does not want you to stand with those men or relationships that are leading you to do what is unrighteous because they will teach you to lie, cheat, steal, disobey godly rules, abuse your body, and make you to take ungodly actions.
The third is that God wants you to guard who you sit with. God does not want you to sit with the scornful-those who make light of the commandments of God. These people or relationships make mockery of the commandments and instructions of God for you as the godly man, husband and father. These people scorn everything good and godly. They influence you to despise the instructions of God. They make you think there is nothing wrong disobeying the instructions of God. They steal the fear of God from your heart.
But glory be to Jesus Christ for making a way of escape for you. Thank God, there is a way out for you through Jesus Christ because He is the way, the truth and the life.
So, how do I overcome these ungodly influences? Let us continue tomorrow.

I am made in the image and likeness of God, and I walk, stand and sit with godly influence because that is what makes me the good and godly husbandman in Jesus name. Amen.
