And hope maketh not ashamed because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given to us (Rom.5:5)
Yesterday, the Word of God admonishes every husbandman, who wants to be like Jesus Christ, to walk in the wisdom of God. Today, God’s word is encouraging every husbandman to walk in the love of Jesus Christ because it is the cure to the works of the flesh (Gal.5:19-21).
But what happens if I walk in the love of Christ?
If the love of Jesus Christ is shed abroad in your heart, you will not have reason to walk out of the relationship you have with God or with your wife and children. There will be no room in your heart to hurt them and do them evil and wickedness. With the love of Christ firmly rooted in your heart, it becomes easier for you to extend that same love to yourself and others.
You must understand that God is love.
For God is love (1Jn.4:8)
As the husbandman, you are made in the image and likeness of God. This means you have the nature of God in you, hence you can love like He would love through Jesus Christ.
Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up. Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil. Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in truth. Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things (1Cor.13:4-7)
Reading through the words of Christ in 1st Corinthians chapter 13 and verses 4 through 7, you will discover how powerful the love of Christ is and what it can empower you to do.
Looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith…(Heb.12:2)
Jesus Christ is love defined, and His life and conduct while on earth are captured in the word of God-the Bible. The more you give attention to reading the Bible and investing your time in studying the word of God, the more you are filled with the love of Christ.
Jesus Christ is the true love. You can become like Him in all thought, actions, responses, and conduct.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower Your love to be shed abroad in my heart by Your by Your Word and Spirit.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to demonstrate Your love to all as You would.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to remain in Your word and help me to obey all Your instructions for me as the husbandman.
FAITH CONFESSION
The love of Jesus Christ is firmly rooted in my heart and by the empowerment of the Person of the Holy Ghost, I manifest the fullness of Christ’s love because that is what enables me to live my life as the good and godly husbandman in Jesus name. Amen.
