LOOK INTO THE WORD OF GOD AND CONTINUE IN IT

Spread the love

Bible Texts: Jas.1:25, Jn.5:39, Ps.119:130-140, 2Tim.2:15, Jos.1:8, Heb.11:6, Jn.14:26, Rom.2:7, Eph.1:18, Ps.1:1-2, 2Pet.1:19

As the husbandman, God wants you to look into His word as a lifestyle because it is the surest foundation for your success as the good and godly man, husband and father, and it is the sure word of prophecy (2Pet.1:19).

But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty and CONTINUETH THEREIN, he being not a forgetful hearer but a DOER OF THE WORK, this man shall be blessed in his deed (Jas.1:25)

Consider these bible passages and see how powerful the word of God is.

The entrance of thy words giveth light, it giveth understanding to the simple. Order my steps in thy word and let not any iniquity have dominion over me. Thy word is very pure, therefore thy servant loveth it. (Ps.119:130, 133, 140)

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth but thou shalt meditate therein day and night…… (Jos.1:8)

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord and in his law doth he meditate day and night (Ps.1:1-2)

But why must I look into the Word of God and continue therein?

The Word of God is what gives value to your leadership role as the husbandman. The Word of God is the compass that leads you to triumph. The Word of God is the anchor on which your today and tomorrow lie. The Word of God is your assurance for a great journey as the good and godly man, husband and father.

So, the questions before you this morning are these. Are you looking into the Word of God and continuing in it? Are you still holding unto God’s word, regardless of what is around or happening to you? Do you still believe that God’s word will help you become a successful, prosperous, joyous and happy husbandman?

God is reassuring you today that you must not give up on God and in His word (Heb.11:1,6). Keep holding on, keep believing, keep acting on the Word. The Word of God will provide the change you desire and the life God wants you to live as the good and godly man, husband and father.

Hallelujah!
