PRAYING ALWAYS WITH ALL SUPPLICATION

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints (Eph.6:18)

Praying as a lifestyle is the husbandman’s greatest spiritual attitude he must develop and maintain if he wants to remain relevant and useful in his journey as the good and godly man, husband, and father. Prayer is the oxygen that gives life to the husbandman. Praise God!

Men ought always to pray and not faint (Lk.18:1)

Jesus Christ, the perfect example of the good and godly husbandman, admonishes you and I to pray always. As the husbandman, you must keep the fire on your prayer altar alive. You must keep your communication with your heavenly Father open and regular, so you can grow in fellowship with Him and access the power of the world to come. Don’t leave the act of praying and intercession to your wife. Don’t celebrate that your wife is a prayer warrior while you are cold on the prayer altar. Men ought to always pray. That is your mandate.

In the times we are in, you must recognize that a fierce battle is raging against the husbandman. Satan, sin and the world are contending against the husbandman’s desire to become the good and godly man, husband and father (Jn.10:10). Distractions, deceitfulness, attacks of all kinds, oppression, fear, doubt and discouragement are all the weapons satan is using to subdue the husbandman from taking his rightful place as the good and godly man, husband and father. This is why you and I must pray without ceasing and pray always in all supplications because that is the surest way we can remain on track to becoming the good and godly husbandman.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE

• Father, in the Name of Jesus, pour upon me the spirit of grace and supplication.
• Father, in the Name of Jesus, stir up a prayer revival in my life.
• Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to pray aright and give me victory.

FAITH CONFESSION

I am endued by the spirit of grace and supplication and by this enablement I am empowered to always pray according to the perfect will of God, thereby making me to live as the good and godly husbandman in Jesus name. Amen.
