The perfect will of God for the husbandman is to become like Jesus Christ, the perfect example of the good and godly husbandman. And the way the husbandman can be like Jesus Christ is to make each day count for Christ by allowing the Word of God to influence his thinking, action and conduct.
But what must I do to make every day of life count for God?
And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore, let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lust (Roms.13:11-14)
You must awake out of your spiritual slumber, excuses and state of defeat. You must take a decisive commitment to depart from your old life of unrighteousness and irresponsibility and start taking responsibility to obey all that God commands from His word for you as the husbandman. You must lay aside your undisciplined lifestyles and all forms of ungodliness.
You must adorn the Lord Jesus Christ, the same way you wear your dress, so He can influence your thoughts, your conduct, action, responses and reactions. What you think, say and do must show that you are indeed in Christ (2Cor.5:17).
Your life matter to God so He gives you each day so that you can make your ways right with Him and be like the perfect example of the good and godly husbandman, Jesus Christ. Let each day matter to you, too, and let your life count for Christ, thereby, making you the the good and godly man, husband and father.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, forgive me for not honouring You with my life each day.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, teach me Your ways and guide me through Your word as I study.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to make quality decisions that will please You every moment of my life as the man, husband and father.
FAITH CONFESSION
Today is a new day for me and I am taking practical steps to obey all that God commands me to do as the man, husband and father because that is the pathway to becoming the good and godly husbandman in Jesus name. Amen.
