The perfect will of God for you as the husbandman is to be like Jesus Christ, the perfect example of the good and godly husbandman. But you cannot be like Jesus if you do not search the Scriptures and commit to doing all that the Word of God commands.
Search the Scriptures, for in it ye think ye have life (Jn.5:39)
In the Word of God, you find the life God wants you to live as a good and godly man, husband, and father. And the more you search the Word of God, the deeper the light you encounter.
How do I make the Word to work for me and make me the good and godly husbandman?
You must take personal responsibility to search the Word of God, and you must trust the Word of God to be true, powerful, and alive (Ps.119:105).
You must have faith in God and in His word that it can do whatsoever it says and can reframe your life, no matter how bad or worse your past or present may have been (Heb.11:2).
You must be steadfast in patience in seeing the Word of God coming to pass in your life by the renewing of your mind(Job 14:14, Rom.12:1-2).
Finally, you must continue to declare over your life what the Word of God has said about you as the man, husband and father, notwithstanding the contrary situation (Ps.29:1-2).
The word of God works and lives forever, and it has the power to make you the good and godly man, husband and father, combined (Ps.119:89).

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, uproot every ungodly seed I have planted in my life as the man, husband and father in the past.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to search Your Word and let it gain root in my life so I can make good and godly decisions as the man, husband and father.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, help me to hold onto Your Word and let it yield godly fruits.
FAITH CONFESSION
I have decided to start searching the Word of God to discover what God has said about my life, and keep doing what the Word says because that is what makes me the good and godly man, husband, and father in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Prayer of Salvation/Rededication
Now that you have read the devotional, you need to have a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ (1Tim.2:4). It is the first step in your walk of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
Please, pray this prayer of salvation in faith.
Lord Jesus, I come to you today just as I am. I acknowledge that I have fallen short of Your glory. I ask for Your forgiveness of my sins today. I invite You into my life to be my Lord and Saviour. Thank You for saving my life.
