Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children, and walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling savor (Eph.5:1-2)
Yesterday, we began this teaching by establishing from Scripture that God wants every husbandman to walk in the love of Christ because that is the only way he can prove that he is the good and godly man, husband and father. We also discovered that when the husbandman walks in the love of Christ, he becomes empowered to forgive his wife and his children; always seeking the good of his wife and children.
How do I then walk in the love of Christ as the husbandman?
Salvation. You must have a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ by accepting Him into your life as your Lord and Saviour. (Jn.3:7).
You must keep studying your Bible, meditating on the words of Jesus Christ and joining a bible believing church where your spirit man will be nourished (Jos.1:6-8, Ps.1:1-3, 2Cor.5:17).
You must continue to engage the force of prayer and fasting so the life and character of Jesus can be formed in you (Gal.4:19, Philp.2:13).
You must be a doer of the Word of God by doing what the Bible commands you to do as the man, husband and father in truth and in deed (Deut.28:1-2, Acts 1:1).
As the husbandman, you are made in the image and likeness of Christ (Gen.1:26-28). You must walk in the consciousness of your new creation status in Christ and walk in love because that is what makes you the good and godly husbandman.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, let Your love be shed abundantly in my heart and let me bear fruits.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to walk in Your love in all that I do.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, make me a living example of Your divine nature, through and through.
FAITH CONFESSION
I am redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ and by it I have the nature of Christ at work in me, and I am walking in love in all that I do because that is what makes me the good and godly husbandman in Jesus name. Amen.
PRAYER OF SALVATION/REDEDICATION
Now that you have read the devotional, you need to have a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ (1Tim.2:4). It is the first step in your walk of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
Please, pray this prayer of salvation in faith.
Lord Jesus, I come to you today just as I am. I acknowledge that I have fallen short of Your glory. I ask for Your forgiveness of my sins today. I invite You into my life to be my Lord and Saviour. Thank You for saving my life.
