The word of God gives direction, guidance and practical steps to living a fulfilled and successful life. When you know your Bible and walk in the revelation of the truth, it will transform your life and give you the compass with which you can teach and instruct your wife and children.
And when he had looked round about on them WITH ANGER , being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out and his hand was restored whole as the other (Mk.3:5).
One of the attributes I like about Jesus Christ is that He is emotional and so I know that when I am unhappy, He feels me, when I am upset, He understands with me and when I am joyful, He is also excited. Now consider the Bible passage we just read today. The Scripture says, “He looked at them with anger”. He was not angry with them rather He was angry with their attitude-not allowing Him to heal the man with a withered hand on the Sabbath day.
Be ye angry and sin not, let not the sun go down upon your wrath, neither give place to the devil (Eph.4:26-27). As the head of the family, you must direct your anger not to your wife and children but to the spirit that is influencing them negatively. If you understand this truth, you will not physically abuse your wife and children or destroy them emotionally. Just like Jesus addressed the root of the matter when He spoke to the Pharisees, you can also confront satan, sin and the world trying to make your wife or children misbehave. Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world according to the prince of the power of the air, THE SPIRIT THAT NOW WORKETH IN THE CHILDREN OF DISOBEDIENCE (Eph.2:2).
But how do I use my anger profitably for the good of my wife and children? Firstly, engage the force of prayer and fasting. The prayer altar is the altar of empowerment. As you pray with the word of God, you receive power to deal with all forms of ungodliness that may be the root cause of the negative actions of your sheep. Secondly, you must keep declaring and prophesying the perfect will of God over the lives of your wife and children.

- Father, in the Name of Jesus, uproot every generational curse on my family (Rev.12:11)
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, reconnect my family back to the blessings of Abraham (Gal.3:13-14)
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, make a better covenant with my family and override every curse of the law (Num.23:23)
