Bible Texts: Tit.1:7-10, Col.4:6, Matt.5:13-14, Acts 1:1-2, Ps.24:1-4, 1Cor.9:27, 1Tim.3:1-6, Matt.5:37
Yesterday, we discover from Scriptures the perfect will of God for the husbandman. And that is God wants the husbandman to be an example of good and godly example to his wife and children by works. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ that you will commit to the demands of Scriptures and receive grace from God through the Person of the Holy Spirit to be and remain the good and godly example to your wife, children and in the market place. Amen.
In all things showing thyself a pattern of good works, in doctrine showing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, sound speech, that cannot be condemned, that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you (Tit.1:7-8)
Now what are the areas God wants me to show a pattern of good works to the end that I live and continue to live as the good and godly husbandman?
I discipline my body and bring it under subjection….(1Cor.9:27)
God wants you to show a pattern of gravity or self control over your anger, appetite for food, sexual desires, position of authority and power, money and other material things.
Let your yea be yea and nay be nay (Matt.5:37)
God also wants you to be a pattern of honesty, saying what you mean and meaning what you say. God wants you to be forthright and consistent in truth.
Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man (Col.4:6)
Finally, God wants you to be an example of sound speech filled with grace and blessings and not cursing and insulting. God has given you a mouth to bless your wife and children and not to curse them.
You must understand that God has made you in His image and likeness. He has given to you Jesus Christ as the perfect example of the good and godly husbandman. You must look to Jesus Christ and His word to become like Him as you lead yourself as the man, husband and father because that is what makes you the good and godly husbandman.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, forgive me for setting a pattern of unrighteous and ungodly works in my life and for my wife and children.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to set and live a pattern of good works in my life and for my wife and children.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to continue to set good and godly pattern by Your word as the man, husband and father.
FAITH CONFESSION
I set a pattern of good and godly works from the Word of God for my life and for my wife and children because that is what makes me the good and godly husbandman in Jesus name. Amen.
