ARISE AND KEEP PRESSING ON (1)

Spread the love

DAY 52 of FASTING AND PRAYER

Bible Texts: Philp.3:14-15, Is.60:1, Lk.16:15-16, Jer.1:10-12, Matt.6:22, Jn.10:30, Gen.2:15, Eph.5:25, 1Cor.13:4-8, 1Pet.3:7-9, Eph.1:18-19, Philp.2:13, Gal.4:19, Job 14:14

One of the things I did during the ongoing 70 days of fasting and prayer was to read anointed books and listen to anointed audio messages. Some of the titles of the books include “Growing Up, Spiritually, by Pst. Kenneth Hagin, “Honour, Integrity, by Pst. Kenneth Copeland, and “Winning The War Against Poverty, by Bishop David Oyedepo.

Why did I read these books, together with studying my Bible and listening to anointed messages? It is because I want to arise and keep marching on, so I become the good and godly husbandman. It is because I want to become a better version of myself in Christ. I want to be mature in my walk with Jesus Christ because He is my example of the good and godly husbandman (Heb.12:2).

I press on toward the goal unto the prize of the high calling of God in Christ….And I run toward the goal to take the victory of calling of God……..(Philp.3:14-15)

As the husbandman, you have a glorious destiny in Jesus Christ. This is why God wants you to press on towards the goal of your high calling as the good and godly man, husband, and father. God wants you to look forward to victory over satan, sin, and the world. This is why you must keep pressing on and marching in your work and walk with God, resulting in you becoming the good and godly husbandman.

But what must I know from the Word of God as I press towards the goal of the high calling for my life as the husbandman, thereby making me the good and godly man, husband and father?

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE

  • Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower my faith to believe all things and never give up on You and Your word for my life as the man, husband and father.
  • Father, in the Name of Jesus, destroy every root of hopelessness, fear and discouragement in my life.
  • Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to pursue tirelessly Your perfect will for my life as the husbandman.

FAITH CONFESSION

I have faith, trust and hope in God and His word and I press towards the mark of the high calling to become a vessel of honour unto God because that is what makes me the good and godly man, husband and father in Jesus name. Amen.
