COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM; SET GODLY BOUNDARIES!

Spread the love

Bible Texts: 2Cor.6:17-18, Ps.1:1, Matt.5:14-16, 1Jn.5:17, 1Cor.15:33-34, 1Cor.14:40, Rom.6:1, 1Cor.14:20, 1Cor.14:25. 1Cor.16:9, 1Cor.16:13

Today’s teaching is both an admonition and instruction to the husbandman to understand the power of relationships and the need to set boundaries so that they can maintain their stand in Christ as the good and godly man, husband and father.

Wherefore, come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord and touch not the unclean things and I will receive you. And I will be a Father unto you and ye shall be my sons and daughters saith the Lord Almighty (2Cor.6:17-18)

The Scripture admonishes you and I to come out from relationships or associations that do not reflect our walk as good and godly husbandmen. This is because if we do not, they will influence our thoughts, words, actions, and conduct negatively (Ps.1:1, 1Cor.15:33).

But why should I come out from among them that are ungodly and set boundaries for my life as the good and godly husbandman?

God wants you to come out of ungodly relationships, associations, and activities because it does not fit your personality. You are the light and have been translated from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of Christ (Ps.1:1, 1Jn.5:17).

God wants you to come out from wrong associations and relationships because of the negative influence they have on your life that leads to greed and covetousness, lying, abusing your body and the bodies of others, stealing, disobeying the laws of the land where you live, adultery, bitterness, unforgiveness, hatred, malice, laziness, bad will towards others, and serving other gods.

Now, this is the admonition from God to you.

Awake to righteousness and sin not, for some have not the knowledge of God, I speak this to your shame (1Cor.15:34)

Come out of every ungodly relationship, association, and fellowship. Awake to righteousness and set godly boundaries. It is the pathway to living the life of the good and godly husbandman.

Hallelujah!
