LIVE AN ORDERLY LIFE

Bible Texts:1Cor.11:30-34, 2Cor.7:1, Col.1:19, Heb.11:3, Eph.5:25, Eph.6:4, Gen.17:1, Jos.24:15, 1Tim.3:1-4, Eph.2:2, Mk.9:29

As the husbandman, you occupy a spiritual leadership position at home, and you are a kingdom manager (Eph.5:25, Jos.24:15, Eph.6:4, 1Tim.3:2-4). If you must succeed as the good and godly man, husband and father, you must live an orderly life (Gen.1:1-3).

Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another. And if any man hunger, let him eat at home, that ye come not together unto condemnation. AND THE REST WILL I SET IN ORDER when I come (1Cor.11:30-33)

The success or failure of your family’s government depends on how much order you have put in your life and into your family. You are living an orderly life if you obey all that God commands you to do as the man, husband and father.

But how do I live and maintain an orderly life?

Having therefore these promises, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God (2Cor.7:1)

As the good and godly husbandman, you must keep cleansing your thoughts from every form of filthiness by the washing of water by the Word of God (Eph.5:26).

You must continue to walk worthy of the Lord in all you think, do, and say, using the Word of God as your guide and final authority (Jn.5:39, Col.1:19, 2Tim.2:15).

You must continue to engage the weapons of prayer and fasting so that you can be empowered by the Spirit of God to overcome the forces of satan, sin and the world (Mk.9:29, Eph.2:2, Is.58:8).

You must keep walking by faith, trusting that God rewards those who walk uprightly (Heb.11:1-6, 33).

It is the perfect will of God for you to put your life and your home in order.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE

• Father, in the Name of Jesus, deliver me from every root cause of a disorderly life.
• Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to set my life in order for Your visitation.
• Father, in the Name of Jesus, give me wisdom, knowledge and understanding as the man, husband and father.

FAITH CONFESSION

I have received the wisdom of God to set my life for the blessings of the Lord to be poured on me because that is what makes me the good and godly husbandman in Jesus name. Amen.
